Get here from Schiphol Airport and Central Station
From Schiphol Airport
- Public transport. Best option. (+-€8.50 / person, 40 min.)
We recommend to reach the hotel by public transport. The most easy and reliable way by public transport is to take the train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station. From Central Station you can take tram 13 in the direction of Geuzenveld and step out at the stop called Willem de Zwijgerlaan. A short one minute walk in the direction you came from will take you to the hotel, which you will find on your right hand after you have crossed a small bridge. One hour tickets and one/two day tickets are available in the tram, card payment only. We do not recommend the airport express bus as the total journey time including the required tram transfer will be longer. - Taxi. Recommended when travelling with 3+ people or with very heavy luggage. (+- €45in total, 20-35 min.)
Follow the TAXI-signs in the airport. They will bring you the official taxi stand just outside of the exit of the airport. Ignore any unsollicited taxi offers, only take a taxi from the taxi stand. Uber-rides should also be available through the Uber-app. - Airport shuttle service. Only recommended for solo travellers with very large luggage. (+- €19/ person, 30-60 min.)
You can buy tickets and check for the next departure at the office desk in Terminal 2.
From Central Station
- We recommend the direct tram connection with the hotel: Take tram 13 in the direction of Geuzenveld and step out at the stop called Willem de Zwijgerlaan. A short one minute walk in the direction you came from will take you to the hotel, which you will find on your right hand after you have crossed a small bridge. One hour tickets and one/two day tickets are available in the tram, card payment only. A tram ticket costs around €3,20.
- We do not recommend to take a taxi from Central Station. A taxi will cost €15-20 and will not be a lot faster than the tram.
